The term “coverage rate” appears in the details of the plans below. The coverage rate indicates the probability of a positive test result when tested at Hiro Clinic. In other words, if the coverage rate is 30%, only 30 out of 100 positive cases will be reported as positive. Conversely, 70 cases will be reported as negative. For tests conducted at certified facilities for Trisomy 21, Trisomy 18, and Trisomy 13, only 45% of cases are reported as positive (coverage rate 45%), meaning that 55% of positive cases are missed.
