Privacy Policy
The NIPT Reception Centre (hereafter referred to as ‘the Centre’) has established the following privacy policy and privacy protection mechanisms for the personal information it receives from customers.
The centre complies with the laws and regulations on personal information, ensures awareness of the importance of protecting personal information, and promotes the appropriate handling and protection of personal information.

The centre obtains personal data in a proper manner.
Personal data management
In order to keep customers’ personal information accurate and up-to-date and to prevent unauthorised access, loss, damage, falsification or leakage of personal information, the Centre takes the necessary measures to maintain a security system, improve its management system and provide thorough employee training, and implements safety measures and strict management of personal information.
Purposes of use of personal data
The Centre will use personal data for the following purposes.
Communications and business information from the centre and answers to questions
Prohibition of disclosure or provision of personal data to third parties
The Centre will properly manage personal information received from customers and will not disclose personal information to third parties, except in the following cases.
When the customer has given their consent
When the information is disclosed to a contractor to whom the Centre outsources its services in order to provide the service requested by the customer
When the disclosure is required by law.
Security of personal data
The centre takes all possible security measures to prevent leakage or loss of personal information and to ensure its accuracy and safety.
Enquiry of the person in question
If a customer wishes to refer to, correct or delete his or her personal data, we will respond to the request after confirming the identity of the customer.
Compliance with and review of laws, regulations and norms
The centre will comply with Japanese laws and regulations applicable to personal information in its possession and will review and improve this policy from time to time.
