Those who suffer from melasma and inflammatory pigmentation
Those who have dark spots

Those who are worried about the dullness of their skin
Laser toning is a new treatment method recommended for people suffering from melasma, inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and other blemishes that were previously difficult to fix.
Laser Toning Treatment
Since melasma and inflammatory hyperpigmentation tend to worsen when irritated, it was difficult to treat them by directly dissolving the pigment, and the only way to do so was to patiently take oral medication or ointment, or opt for peeling over a period of time. Laser toning is a new treatment method that solves such problems, allowing melasma and inflammatory hyperpigmentation to be broken down and faded little by little without causing irritation.

Effects of Laser Toning Treatment
The effect will gradually become apparent with each treatment. The recommended number of treatments is 6 to 8, every other week, for a course of treatment. After the third treatment, many patients will notice a lightening of the spots. If the results are not satisfactory even after completing the target number of sessions, additional partial treatments may be performed. After that, the treatment will be repeated at intervals to ensure that there is no relapse. It is advisable to have a treatment every 1-2 months to maintain the effect and prevent a recurrence.

I have a lot of spots and would like to do something about them with the laser toning, but in a short period of time, is it possible to do 6 treatments? Usually, it is once a week, but since I am short on time, I am thinking that if twice a week is more effective than once a week, then 6 sessions would be good. Is irradiation twice a week actually more effective than once a week?
It is difficult to give an exact answer without seeing the actual skin, but please refer to the following information if you would like to know more. If you have a mainly noticeable, well-defined circular or textured spots, Photo RF is a treatment that can effectively target the darker spots. This one is highly effective in reducing the gap between the dark and light areas because of its strong power to make the dark areas lighter.
However, if the target period is short and you want to see the effect immediately, it is recommended that you first eliminate some of the darker color bumps with a Photo RF treatment, and then switch to laser toning. With laser toning, the treatment interval is shorter, and it is easier to achieve results in a shorter period of time. However, laser toning is different in the way it breaks down the pigment, so it has the effect of reducing the pigment by the same amount for both dark and light areas. It is more efficient to first shrink the bumps with a quick photo RF treatment and then break up the rest with laser toning.
After the photo RF, it takes about a week for the color of the spots to lift out and peel off, after which the laser toning can be performed. For Laser toning treatment, there is no peeling reaction.
Laser toning twice a week for the remaining time is a bit much, but if your skin condition does not develop any problems, you can do it every 4-5 days at intervals. And if there are still some dark spots, you may do a Photo RF treatment in the last session.
In addition, For a quick and effective result, a combination of oral and topical treatments, chemical peels that promote skin turnover and enhance the elimination of spots, and injections that allow whitening ingredients to penetrate the skin is recommended.
There is a trial course for the first set of chemical peeling, photo RF, and injection, so it is recommended to try that once, followed by the laser toning trial, and then the melasma one-month intensive set, which is a course that is recommended to be continued.
If the spots are not grainy and appear to barely spread over the entire area, melasma is likely to be the main cause. In such cases, it may be better to perform laser toning-centered treatment.
In any case, we will probably decide whether to combine photo RF and laser toning or to treat with laser toning alone, depending on the condition of your skin, and then proceed with the treatment.
I have spots around both cheekbones that a local dermatologist told me were probably melasma. I also have a spot (about 1 cm in diameter) on the middle of my right cheek that started appearing 15 years ago and has gradually grown in size. I would like to have these spots removed with laser toning or other treatment methods, but should I avoid the summer season when UV rays become stronger? I will be traveling for a week, so I don’t think I will be able to avoid exposure to UV completely.
Melasma first requires three basic treatments to suppress melasma activity: avoiding rubbing, thorough UV care, and use of oral and ointment medications. We then recommend laser toning as a treatment to gently breaks down the melasma so as not to irritate it. If the basic treatment is omitted, even if only color-dissolving treatment is performed, the melasma may disappear when the treatment is being performed but may recur when the treatment is discontinued, or the number of treatments and duration may be excessive because the activity of the melasma is not controlled. If you are interested in curing melasma, whether before, during, or after treatment, we strongly recommend that you start with a thorough basic treatment as soon as possible. There is no particular problem with starting laser toning treatment at any time. In order to prevent the melasma from worsening, enhance the effect of the treatment, and maintain the effect of the treatment, you will need to be careful no matter whenever you travel in the future, so we suggest that you decide when to start the treatment depending on whether you can make a good schedule to attend the treatment session. Once treatment is started, regular visits to the clinic are recommended, preferably every 1-2 weeks. If the interval between treatments is too long, it will be acceptable to wait until after your trip is over. If you can start with just the basic treatment in advance, we can minimize the deterioration caused by UV light, so if you would like to visit our office for a consultation, we would be happy to see you.
The burning redness after treatment usually goes away on the same day or so. Itching, rash, and acne may occur in the early stages of treatment, but they are usually mild and usually go away within a few days. If your skin condition is severe, additional treatment may be necessary, so please be sure to see and consult a doctor. You can wash your face and apply makeup on the day of the treatment. Make sure to keep your skin well-moisturized and avoid harsh massages to avoid irritating the skin (do not rub). Avoid strong sunlight and apply UV protection. Always continue to use prescribed oral and external medications.
