Dr. HIFU Premium Therma Refund Policy
Refunds for the Dr. HIFU Premium Therma contract will be issued under the following conditions:
- 1. Eligibility
Only those who have signed the full refund policy contract on or after June 17, 2023, and have paid the treatment cost in cash are eligible (payments made via credit card, QR code, etc., are not eligible). - 2. Lack of Effectiveness
- (1) Requirements
If the Dr. HIFU Premium Therma treatment has shown no effect 1–2 months after the treatment. - (2) Decision Maker
The determination of the treatment’s effectiveness will be made by our clinic. Opinions from patients or third parties may serve as reference materials but are not binding on our clinic’s decision. - (3) Decision Timing
The effectiveness will be determined at the time of the refund request, provided it is within 1–2 months after the treatment. - (4) Evidence
Photos taken at our clinic before the treatment, immediately after the treatment, and at the time of the refund request (within 1–2 months after the treatment) will be used for evaluation. Photos taken by patients or third parties will not be considered.

A follow-up observation at our clinic (usually 1–2 weeks) is required after the refund request.
The decision regarding the treatment’s effectiveness will be based on the time of the refund request, not the end of the follow-up period. Even if effects appear during the follow-up period after being deemed ineffective, a refund will still be issued. Conversely, if the treatment is deemed effective at the time of the refund request but the effects disappear during the follow-up, no refund will be issued. - 4. Refund Request Period
Refund requests must be made within 2 months after the Dr. HIFU Premium Therma treatment. Requests made after this period will not be eligible. - 5. Refund Request Procedure

Refund requests must be made in person at the clinic where the Dr. HIFU Premium Therma treatment was performed. The clinic will take photographs to determine effectiveness, and the refund request must be submitted using the designated form. Requests via mail or internet are not accepted. - (2) Required Documents
A valid photo ID that verifies your current address (e.g., health insurance card, driver’s license). For private IDs (e.g., university student ID), additional proof of address, such as a residency certificate, must be attached.

- 6. Cases Not Eligible for Refund and Other Notes
- (1) Failure to meet conditions 1–5.
- (2) Lack of required photographs. Photos taken at our clinic during initial consultation, immediately after treatment, and at the time of the refund request are necessary. Those who refuse photo sessions are not eligible.
- (3) Payments made via credit card or QR code instead of cash are not eligible.
- (4) Transportation costs incurred for clinic visits are not covered under the refund policy.
- (5) For complaints or additional treatments reported after the refund request period, standard fees will apply.

A treatment that delivers high-energy ultrasound to a pinpoint location within the body.
Thermal Fractional
A treatment that uses needle-shaped high-frequency (RF) energy.
Conventional RF applies energy across a flat surface, increasing strain on the skin at higher outputs. However, Thermal Fractional RF uses needle-shaped energy to reduce strain on the skin surface.
HIFU targets three different depths, from superficial to deep layers, in a single treatment.

Treatment Process
1. Make a Reservation Online or via Phone
If you have inquiries about the clinic or treatment, concerns about progress, or any other questions, feel free to call us.
2. Visit the Clinic
Arrive at the clinic at your reserved time and inform the reception staff of your reservation name.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to fill out a medical questionnaire.
3. Free Consultation with a Doctor
The doctor will listen to your concerns, perform a skin diagnosis, and provide clear and detailed explanations about the treatment options.
If you have any doubts, feel free to consult until you are fully satisfied.
4. Treatment by a Doctor
If time permits, treatment can be performed on the same day. The treatment is carried out carefully based on the pre-consultation.
The procedure takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
5. Return Home
Payment can be made by cash or credit card.
You can apply makeup starting from the same day.
6. Aftercare
Visit the clinic within a month to check progress.
This follow-up consultation is free of charge.

What is the difference between this treatment and esthetic salons?
Many incidents of burns and nerve damage have occurred when esthetic or self-esthetic treatments were conducted without proper understanding of the risks. As a result, such treatments are now prohibited in esthetic salons.
Treatments performed at medical institutions are significantly different, as the machines used in esthetic salons have about half the maximum output of those in medical institutions, making results less noticeable. For risk avoidance and effectiveness, treatments performed in medical institutions are recommended. -
Are there any side effects such as redness or swelling?
You may experience mild redness or warmth immediately after the treatment, but this is typically manageable with regular skincare and makeup, allowing you to return to your daily routine. If you notice any concerns with your skin, you can always visit for aftercare consultations.

How often should I visit for treatment?
Maintaining good results is easier if you continue treatments every three to six months, which is recommended.

This treatment can be applied not only to the face but also to areas such as the neck or body. If it’s a different area, you can receive treatment at any time. For the same area, please wait about three months between treatments.
